It is essential to provide us the means of identifying its authenticity (articles, phenotypic or molecular tests).

Requests for strains deposit must be addressed to the collection curator who will decide acceptance or not of the deposit. His decision is based on strain originality, characterization quality or another reason (specific growth requirement, pathogenicity to human…).

Strains deposition is free. After freeze drying process, we send two vials of the strain to the depositor. The first vial in order to confirm than the freeze-dried bacterium is similar to the deposit strain. The second vial is for the personal use of the depositor.

Types strains
The rules controlling type strain deposit were modified. It is now necessary to deposit each type strain in two open collections located in two different countries.
A deposit certificate, attesting deposit, viability and availability of the strain will be provided to you in return.
